Bhuvneshwar Kumar's replacement in India's T20I team is announced by Danish Kaneria

Danish Kaneria, a former Pakistani leg-spinner, suggested that Bhuvneshwar Kumar might be replaced by Deepak Chahar in the Indian T20I team. Chahar, in his opinion, bowls better than his more experienced buddy.

Bhuvneshwar participated in the ICC T20 World Cup, whereas Chahar will represent India in a three-match ODI series against New Zealand. The Indian management needs to start choosing Deepak over Bhuvi in the shortest format, Kaneria added.

Despite his propensity for injuries, Deepak Chahar is a superior bowler over Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In the T20I squad, he ought to take Bhuvi's place, he wrote on his YouTube account.

"Would you want a pacemaker who gives up 35 to 40 runs? It's time to let Kumar go. Prasidh Krishna and T Natarajan are also present. Arshdeep Singh already resides in India. When it comes to the 2024 T20 World Cup, Bhuvi doesn't seem to have age on his side, he said.

Against the Kiwis, the 32-year-old Kumar had stats of 1/12 and 0/35. Against England in the World Cup semifinal, he allowed 25 runs in two overs.
